Dropped by for an espresso and cappuccino. Delicious. Wonderful staff. Got an extra dallop for my cappuccino, while I waited for my husband. Much appreciated.

Hard to beat the location for this little quaint pizzeria... The pizza with the prosciutto was delicious. Service could've been a bit faster but the English speaking server was very helpful to us and was busy with a lot and of other customers. We were in and out pretty quickly and would definitely do it again when we return.

Pizza was very underwhelming. Service even more underwhelming. The only positive aspect was the location right next to entrance of the duomo. Please save your money and visit a different restaurant for lunch. We could not have asked for a less satisfying lunch in Italy than what it took to order 2 pizzas and 4 waters. This should be second-nature business. Quick, easy in - easy out process. You could somewhat excuse poor service if the food were good but unfortunately pizza was bland and over done. Pick a different place for lunch.

I have mixed feelings about Caffetteria il Magnifico. My girlfriend and I shared a delicious pizza topped with prosciutto and truffle sauce (tartufata salsa). However, the crust wasn't the best we've had and really any pizza would taste amazing with truffles on top of it. The biggest problem with il Magnifico is the service. Our server was slow, forgetful and wasn't friendly--but he was clearly much more friendly with other patrons. He didn't bring us a second napkin and set of silverware (even after we asked) and despite the fact that we were obviously splitting the pizza. They were also out of one of the ingredients for our first choice pizza. You might have better luck than we did, but I'd definitely recommend trying to find someplace else for lunch.
